Con Brio
Formed in 2003, Con Brio is a versatile vocal group specialising in the performance of a-cappella music from the sixteenth century to the present day. Their repertoire encompasses sacred works, madrigals, folksongs, partsongs, spirituals and close harmony versions of both the classic jazz standards and contemporary pop music. This breadth of repertory enables the group to perform at a wide variety of events from traditional concerts and church services to providing entertainment at dinners, receptions and other functions.
Since its inception, Con Brio have taken their unique blend of sacred and secular music to concert venues all over the United Kingdom as well as performances in the Channel Islands, Europe and the United States of America. The group also try to perform for charity as often as possible, most recently raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice, British Red Cross and the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
In addition to concert performances, Con Brio are regularly asked to sing at religious services such as wedding ceremonies, funerals and carol services. They have also provided entertainment for a growing list of private clients including a number of City of London Livery Companies.
